Berlin Marathon guide

Sun, Sep 26, 2027 · Berlin, Germany · Start 9:15 AM

What to know when planning this race

Start, finish & getting there
Start and finish are both in Tiergarten: you start on Straße des 17. Juni and finish just past the Brandenburg Gate.
Convenient areas to stay
Mitte, near Brandenburger Tor or Potsdamer Platz, is closest. The expo is at Messe Berlin (Hub27) in the west, about 30 minutes by S-Bahn.
Confirmed vs. carried over
The race date is confirmed. The start time, course, aid stations and expo hours are carried over from last year until the 2027 details are announced.
Plan around before race morning
  • Use the S-Bahn/U-Bahn; roads across Mitte and Tiergarten close from early morning.
  • Budget a separate trip to Messe Berlin for bib pickup.
  • Confirm your wave start time on your bib.
